SCALPEX VE 71

POWERFUL COATINGS REMOVER ENVIRONMENT FRIENDLY

Environment friendly coating remover, does not contain methylenechloride nor paraffin. Effective on all facade coatings, thick or slim, varnishes.

I- PROPERTIES

SCALPEX VE 71 was formulated to be harmless to environment. SCALPEX VE 71 removes effectively paints, varnishes, and polymer coatings, applied over a broad variety of substrates.

SCALPEX VE 71 is formulated without methylene chloride and paraffin, it is a gel containing heavy solvents which remain long in contact .

Owing to lack of paraffin, it is easily cleaned up with water without exposure to adverse effects of paraffin when recoating..

II- CHARACTERISTICS

Visual aspect: viscous white gel

Specific gravity: 1.05 g/cm³ at 20_C

pH: 2 to 3

flash point : > 70 _C

Efficiency: 200 to 400 g/m²

III- INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Apply product with a brush or roller on the coating. Coating to remove must be dry, and ambient temperature between 5 and 50 _C.

Let swell for a few hours until coating is softened.

With putty knife or a scraper, remove all desegregated paint and recover it in appropriate package, for later disposal.

Rinse with water under pressure (100-150 bars) ñ always downwards.

IV- WARNING

This product can harm rubber, polystyrene, plastic tiles, aluminium and zinc. Such materials must be protected prior to applying remover.

Avoid contact with skin and eyes, wear protective clothing, gloves and goggles. When accidentally in contact, immediately wash with soap and water.

If eventually product shows two phases in the package, stir well before usage.
