SCALPEX BAT 78 G9

POWERFUL REMOVER FOR THICK FACADE POLYMER COATINGS AND VARNISHES

Low paraffin content remover easily washable as it is fully emulsifialbe in water. Effective on all facade coatings, thick or slim, varnishes.

I- PROPERTIES

As it contains methylene chloride, this remover is effective on a large variety of paints, varnishes, thick plastic coatings.

SCALPEX BAT 78 G9 is formulated with the lowest possible quantity of paraffin, and is completely emulsifiable in water, which makes it easy to clean up with water.

SCALPEX BAT 78 G9 can also be used to remove inks and glues.

II- CHARACTERISTICS

Visual aspect: yellowish gel

Specific gravity: 1.210 g/cm³ at 20_C

pH: 10.5

Efficiency: 300 to 600 g/m²

III- INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Apply product with a brush or roller on the coating. Coating to be removed must be dry, and ambient temperature between 5 and 50 _C.

Let swell for 15 to 30 minutes until coating is softened.

With putty knife or a scraper, remove all desegregated paint and recover it in appropriate package, for later disposal.

Rinse with water under pressure (100-150 bars) and always downwards. Rinsing must be done carefully to avoid further problems when recoating.

IV- WARNING

This product can harm rubber, polystyrene, plastic tiles, aluminium and zinc. Such materials must be protected prior to applying remover.

Avoid contact with skin and eyes, wear protective clothing, gloves and goggles. When accidentally in contact, immediately wash with soap and water.

Avoid breathing the vapours.

Store product under shelter, and avoid direct exposure to sun during storage.
